New Drivers offers
an excellent quality of service. Your New Drivers instructor will:
- provide advice
on, and recommend the appropriate study material for your Theory and
Hazard perception tests
- provide a written
assessment of your driving standard on your first lesson, and then plan
a course of practical tuition to match your individual needs
- provide ongoing
feedback during the course of your practical tuition and provide a written
record of your progress in your New Drivers Progress Report
- provide lesson
handouts – to help you remember what you learn
- monitor your
progress and provide advice on an appropriate time to apply for the
DSA Theory and Practical tests
- provide tuition
with no other pupil in the car
- adhere to the
DSA Voluntary Code of Conduct (a copy of this code is sent out to all
pupils with the first appointment card)
- be on time
at the agreed pick up point and be available for the full duration of
the lesson booking
- conduct themselves
in a professional manner including providing a courteous service, not
smoking during tuition and restricting mobile phone calls to emergencies
and those to the benefit of the pupil
- provide a clean,
modern (no older than six months) fully maintained, dual controlled
car on every lesson.
